On January 22–23 we host at DMIF the final meeting of the PRIN 2022 project STENDHAL, together with the workshop “Intelligenza artificiale in medicina, esperienze a confronto”. The event shows how our region is becoming a hub for health technology, bridging high-level research and hospital operations.
- Within STENDHAL we are developing hybrid AI for accurate and transparent brain image analysis, which is essential for diagnostic trust.
- The work is aligned with major initiatives such as Horizon IMI BigPicture, the largest European pathology database, and the Bosomshield project for cancer prediction.
- Inspired by research on DCR Graphs, we explore how hybrid AI can make chatbots and digital workflows in healthcare more accurate.
- With ASUFC we discuss the transition of AI into real-world use, from optimising waiting lists to supporting emergency radiology.
